On November 19, 2009, the Crop Production and Management Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and the National Agricultural Technology Center held a national experience exchange meeting on the construction of the fruit pest free area in Chongqing. More than 60 experts from plant quarantine department of the plant protection and phytosanitary station of relevant provinces (municipalities directly under the Central Government) and experts from the Citrus Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences participated in the meeting.
