高岭石的分离自40年代起,从洗矿槽发展成水力旋流器和浮选。小于5μm粒级物料选择性降低是由于吸附在矿物表面上捕收剂的量对分选效果的影响很小。粒度大于5μm时,借助Krupp-Polysius的带有特殊定片的盘式搅拌器改善了选择性。带喷射扇风机的充气浮选槽得到同样的结果,但是,值得注意的是这种槽型结构较为简单。
Kaolinite separations have evolved from launder tanks into hydrocyclones and flotation since the 1940s. Selective reduction of material fractions smaller than 5 μm is due to the fact that the amount of collector adsorbed on the mineral surface has little effect on the separation performance. With a particle size of more than 5 μm, the selectivity is improved with Krupp-Polysius disc stirrers with special tabs. The same result was obtained with the aerated flotation cell with a jet fan, but it is notable that this slotted structure is simpler.
