2004年的时间年轮又将成为历史的记忆,回头看去,这一年国际足坛真够热闹的,欧洲杯、美洲杯和亚洲杯首次在同一年份进行,奥运会也随后在希腊举行,而2006年世界杯的预选赛更是如火如荼地进行着。此外,各国联赛以及欧洲冠军联赛也跟着凑热闹似地发生了不少新鲜事。不过热闹之余,2004年的足坛给人们留下的印象更多的是惊奇,希腊举起了欧洲杯、波尔图捧走了欧洲冠军杯、伊拉克闯进了奥运会足球赛四强…… 除了这些大惊奇,足球圈里的小惊奇更是举不胜举,似乎2004这一年就可以用足坛惊奇年来命名了。
