Abstract. Ogr object in this artlcle is to describe tbe Galerkln scheme and nonlin-eax Galerkin scheme for the approximation of nonlinear evolution equations, and tostudy the stability of these schemes. Spatial discretizatlon can be pedormed by eitherGale
