The tectonic trend of Pre-Miocene in Japan was curved in Jiuzhou Island and Central Japan. The onshore geological structures, such as the Jurassic lineage trend in the metamorphic period, the trend of the Newcombian K_1 basin and the Late Cretaceous The direction of the strike-slip fault was bent due to the opening of the Japan Sea in the Miocene. The strengthening of the central Japan bend may be due to the collision of the Pliocene-Quaternary Japan with the Izu ridge, thus proposing a pre-split reconstruction of Japan. The bending structure and the Neogene rifting movement of Kyushu Island and Central Japan can both be explained by the two-dimensional pattern of large-scale bending and creasing folds.
