Jin Jinghai’s novel by Jingmen writer is mostly based on the place name of “Xiaojianghu”. Therefore, his novella is simply named “anecdote of Xiaojianhu Lake” (published in 2016 by Chongwen Bookstore, Wuhan). Jin Cheng-hai as the “spiritual return home” for the purpose of thinking, in the “small rivers and lakes series” story, discusses the urban-rural dual structure under the profound changes in rural life, as well as peasants encounter the era of tie. The prominent person who belonged to “Uncle’s Desert” and was introduced in the headlines of “Changjiang Literature and Art” was considered as the symbol of the author’s “leap in the spiritual return”.
