夏天是游泳的大好时节。許多少年儿童对游泳有着浓厚的兴趣,这是一件好事。因为参加游泳活动不仅可以全面鍛炼身体,增强体质,而且有利于培养勇敢、坚毅、頑强、机智、敏捷和克服困难的共产主义道德品质。组织少年儿童参加游泳活动,首先要注意他們的健康状况。最好能够先請医生为他們检查身体,经医生检查合格后再让他們参加游泳。一般患有心脏病、血压高、肺炎、痢疾、痙孪、重沙眼、中耳炎、关节炎、重感冒或传染性皮肤病的都不能游泳。游泳场所的选择,也是要注意的一个問題。初学游泳的人应在浅水或靜水中进行练习。要选择水底平坦(最好是沙底),水流不急,水深不过胸,没有乱石,暗桩、水草及其他障碍物的地方,以防游泳时碰破身体
