我在讲授五四运动课程时,碰到一些问题.例如:我们都知道“五四”是一个划时代的运动,五四运动代表了一个历史时期,但是,这个时代或这个时期究竟起止何年?又如,五四运动是否包括新文化运动;五四运动与新文化运动有什么关系;五四运动有什么特点;五四运动到底是谁领导的?等等,这些都是值得深入探讨的问题.过去在分析五四运动的历史意义时,一般皆不谈它在国际上的影响,我认为这也是一个问题.本文限于篇幅,仅就五四运动的内容与“时间”;五四运动的性质与特点;五四运动的领导;五四运动的历史意义等几个问题,提出自己的看法,与同志们讨论.
For example, we all know that the May Fourth Movement was a landmark movement and that the May 4th Movement represented a historical period. However, what is the beginning or end of this era or this period? What is the May 4th Movement? What are the characteristics of the May 4th Movement? Who is led by the May 4th Movement? These are all worth in-depth discussions. Whether the May 4th Movement included the New Culture Movement, the May 4th Movement and the New Culture Movement, In the past, when analyzing the historical significance of the May 4th Movement, we generally did not mention its impact on the world. I think this is also a problem. This article is limited in length and only covers the content and “time” of the May Fourth Movement. The nature and characteristics of the May 4th Movement; the leadership of the May 4th Movement; the historical significance of the May 4th Movement and other issues, put forward their own views and discussed with comrades.
