From February 1998 to April 2005, 24 cases of obstructive pus were treated by our department with kidney-conserving surgery. The report is as follows. 1 Clinical data 1.1 General Information The group of 24 patients, 16 males and 8 females; aged 16 to 72 years, mean age 44 years. 14 cases on the left and 10 cases on the right. There were 23 cases of calculous pus, 18 cases of renal calculi, 5 cases of ureteral calculi, and 15 cases of pus and contralateral upper urinary calculi.
