为了适应工农业建设发展的需要和改善农村的居住条件,设计了一种烧砖窑,这种窑不同于轮窑和串窑,它的窑体除地基和火坑以下部分是固定的以外,上部窑身是随着砖坯码成砖垛砌成的,窑的外皮和顶部都用土坯包围和复盖,砖烧好了以后,随拆随出,到最后窑身全部拆除,所以称这种境砖法为“无窑烧碑法”。这种“无窑烧砖法”类似于围窑烧砖,但也有一些差别:首先,一般的围窑烧砖是将砖坯和煤饼夹装砌窑,点火后即自行燃烧,只能在窑顶上采用压土的办法来适当调整窑内各部位的温度,但是这种方法是有限度的,当风向和风力突变时,往往易使火力偏行,窑内温度很难趋于一致,成品质量不易均匀;而“无窑烧砖”一方面采取了砖坯和煤粉夹装,另一方面又装设了炉灶,因此可以在烧火方法上来调整窑内
