王荣堂作的“马克思主义是怎样产生的”一书,和最近出版的许许多多其他小册子一样,是由作者把他在学校中教课所用的讲义的一个章节(或是一个讲题)扩充之后写成的。利用现成的讲义为基础,进行加工扩充成书,这是可以的。但是我认为这样做只有在以下的两种情况下,才显得有意义:第一、对原来讲义中所探讨的带有概论性的问题,作更深入的阐发和论证,提出一些新颖的见解;第二、作通俗化的加工,使它适合我国理论准备更差一些的读者的需要。显然,不论是哪一种情
