作者分析了控制或影响黄河海港所在海区海岸与海底地貌发育和沉积作用的海洋与河口动力因素.阐明了各种因素对研究区的沉积物运动与分布、侵蚀一堆积作用过程及海岸与海底地貌发育的影响.指出无潮区的悬浮泥沙含量与黄河口有一定联系,但其中只有很小一部分在无潮区暂时沉淀,大部分随余流方向北上,至渤海湾中部水域发生絮凝而沉淀.
