礼貌原则是人们顺利进行言语交际的基础,它体现了社会文化对语言使用的制约和影响,在不同的文化中它表现出各自的特点。礼貌现象普遍存在于各种语言之中,但在交际,特别是跨文化交际中,人们往往采用自己认同的礼貌原则进行表达和理解,这就容易引起误解,导致交际失败。本文通过总结回顾与礼貌相关的理论,试图从语用学的角度分析礼貌策略在人们做出英语请求时的运用,使我们对礼貌的语用概念有了进一步的理解和认知,从而达到成功交流。
The principle of politeness is the basis for people’s successful speech communication. It reflects the restriction and influence of social culture on the use of language. It shows its own characteristics in different cultures. Politeness generally exists in various languages, but in communication, especially in intercultural communication, people often use their own politeness principle to express and understand, which easily leads to misunderstanding and communication failure. By reviewing the theories related to politeness, this article attempts to analyze the application of politeness strategies from the perspective of pragmatics when people make English requests, so that we can further understand and recognize the polite pragmatic concepts so as to achieve success communicate with.
