目的观察难治性癫痫患者在生酮饮食治疗前后智力水平的变化。方法使用韦氏智力量表测验17例发作未得到有效控制的难治性癫痫患者的总智商、言语智商及操作智商,并进行比较。结果 17例患者经生酮饮食治疗后智力水平总体有所改善,语言及操作智商均较治疗前改善。结论生酮饮食能改善患者的智商。
Objective To observe the change of intelligence level in patients with refractory epilepsy before and after ketogenic diet treatment. Methods The Wechsler Intelligence Scale was used to test the total intelligence, verbal intelligence and operative intelligence of 17 patients with intractable epilepsy who were not effectively controlled and compared. Results After treatment with ketogenic diet, the overall mental status of 17 patients was improved. The speech and operative IQ improved compared with that before treatment. Conclusion Ketogenic diet can improve the patient’s IQ.
