北海出口加工区是2003年经国务院正式批准设立的国家级出口加工区,总规划面积1．454平方公里,首期封关面积1．135平方公里,足中国西部唯一临海的出口加工区,也是中国距离东盟国家最近的出口加工区。
Beihai Export Processing Zone is a state-level export processing zone officially approved by the State Council in 2003. The total planned area is 1.454 square kilometers, and the first phase of the closure is 1.135 square kilometers. It is the only offshore processing zone in western China. China is the closest export processing zone to ASEAN countries.
