在毛主席革命卫生路线指引下,在各级党委的重视和关怀下,我区的合作医疗越办越好,赤脚医生队伍茁壮成长,迅速改变了农村卫生面貌。宜山县祥贝公社祥贝大队就是一例。这个大队的党支部以党的基本路线为纲,狠抓合作医疗的整顿、巩固工作。经过反复培训,已有三名赤脚医生、三十一名卫生员、二十二名接生员。他们热情地为贫下中农防病治病,自采、自种、自制中草药,走以药养医的道路,使合作医疗不断巩固发展,
Under the guidance of Chairman Mao’s revolutionary health route, with the attention and care of the party committees at all levels, the cooperative medical service in our district has been getting better and better. The team of bare-foot doctors have thrived and quickly changed the health status of rural areas. One example is Xiangbei Brigade, Xiangbei Commune, Yishan County. The party branch of this brigade takes the basic line of the party as the guideline, and pays close attention to the rectification and consolidation of the cooperative medical care. After repeated training, there were three barefoot doctors, 31 health workers and 22 midwives. They enthusiastically helped the poor and middle peasants to prevent and treat diseases, collect, breed, and self-produce Chinese herbal medicine. They took the road of medicine and medical care, and continued to consolidate the development of cooperative medical care.
