猪殃殃是麦田的恶性杂草,在我省发生广,危害重。近年来发展蔓延较快,特别是镇扬丘陵山区和里下河等地区,猪殃殃的危害重于看麦娘,已成为影响三麦增产的突出问题。扬州地区,由于猪殃殃的危害,三麦损失已超过病虫危害损失的总和。根据粗略估计,以猪殃殃为主的麦田阔叶杂草的危害面积,全省在1000万亩以上,每年造成的三麦产量损失约4亿斤以上。

According to a rough estimate, the damage area of wheat broadleaf weeds dominated by Galium apiculata is over 10 million mu in the province, causing an annual loss of about 400 million kilos of three-wheat yield.
