唐寅,字伯虎,又字子畏,号六如居士、桃花庵主、鲁国唐生、逃禅仙吏等,1470年3月7日3时生,也就是庚寅年戊寅月甲寅日丙寅时,故名唐寅。江苏苏州人,解元学历。明孝宗弘治13年的1500年,30岁的唐寅赴京会试,由于成绩优异,竟然被怀疑是考场舞弊。后来虽经平反出狱,但也是被贬往浙江,担任明朝最小级别公务员。唐寅感觉受到污辱,没有上任,此后与仕途绝缘,一生从未当官。唐寅诗文书画俱佳,其诗调侃世俗,其文通俗易懂,其书俊雅美观,其画意境秀丽,有《六如居士集》存世。
