本文介绍用计算机进行语言处理研究的一般方法、过程、要求,它的优缺点以及程序设计与实现方面的体会。目的是协助那些对计算机及其语言有初步了解,但缺少使用经验的读者尽快开展工作。叙述的内容主要针对话音处理,但与其它专业有许多共同之处,可以借鉴。文中还谈到一些话音数字处理的知识,对部分读者也将有助。所给的例子,是从一套实用程序中抽出来的,略有删减,用来说明基本原理和考虑方法,不一定是最佳设计。实用程序都经过计算机的实际验证。使用的语言是FORTRAN(Ⅱ和Ⅳ)。使用的计算机是PDP8/E和PDP11/34A(英国BATH大学电子系)。最后须指出,这里所说的“语言处理”或话音处理,是指对人类自然语言信号的加工。读者当不会把它与计算机语言之类的其它“语言”混同。
This article describes the general methods, processes, requirements, advantages and disadvantages, and experience in program design and implementation of computer-based language processing. The goal is to assist those who have a first-hand understanding of computers and their languages, but who lack the experience to work as soon as possible. The narrative content is mainly for voice processing, but it has much in common with other professions for reference. The article also talked about some knowledge of voice digital processing, for some readers will also help. The examples given are extracted from a set of utilities and slightly deleted to illustrate the rationale and considerations, not necessarily the best design. Utilities have been verified by the computer. The language used is FORTRAN (Ⅱ and Ⅳ). The computers used are PDP8 / E and PDP11 / 34A (Department of Electronics, BATH University, UK). Finally, we must point out that “language processing” or voice processing as used herein refers to the processing of human natural language signals. Readers should not confuse it with other “languages” like computer languages.
