明清以来乡里民间对于赌博恶习深恶痛绝,想方设法予以遏制,集众议立禁赌碑,在乡规民约和宗谱中以乡约族规家训方式予以严厉制裁。民间的遏制措施,是配合官方法制的有力机制。
Since the Ming and Qing dynasties, villagers abhorred gambling abuses and tried every means to curb them. They set a meeting to ban the gambling tablet and severely sanctioned them in the rural regulations and pedigree in the rural areas. Non-governmental containment measures are a powerful mechanism to tie in with the official legal system.
