【英国《国际核工程》网站2016年11月3日报道】美国奥马哈公共电力区(OPPD)2016年10月24日永久性关闭卡尔洪堡核电厂。公共电力区2016年6月曾宣布,出于经济原因,决定在2016年底前关闭这座核电厂。这座核电厂拥有一座482 MWe压水堆,1973年投入商业运行,其发电量占公共电力区总发电量的34%,占内布拉斯加州总发电量的9%。现有许可证允许该电厂运行至2033年。
[International Nuclear Engineering website published November 3, 2016] US Omaha Public Electricity District (OPPD) October 24, 2016 Permanently shut down the Fort Calhoun NPP. The public electricity district announced in June 2016 that it has decided to shut down the nuclear power plant by the end of 2016 for economic reasons. The NPP owns a 482 MWe PWR and was put into commercial operation in 1973, generating 34% of the total power generation in the public electricity area and 9% of the total Nebraska generating capacity. The existing permit allows the plant to run until 2033.
