捻军是太平天国革命时期淮北平原上的一支强大农民起义军。它在反抗清朝封建统治者的斗争中表现了自己伟大的力量和智慧。捻军的兴起与活动具有自己鲜明的特点。具体地研究各次农民战争的特点,对于我们全面而深刻地掌握我国农民战争的规律是具有重大意义的。本文试就捻军的起源问题提出初步的体会,以期引起对这一问题的深入研究。一八五三年的皖北捻军起义,和我国历史上多次农民起义一样,是在广大被剥削、被压迫的群众中经过了一段时期的酝酿才发展起来的。捻军的前身就是捻党。捻党起源于清康熙年间,至嘉庆年间,他们以数十人结成“小捻子”,一二百人结成“大捻子”,在徐、淮一带活动。至道光年间,捻党的组织与活动范
Nien Army is a powerful Peasant Rebels on the Huaibei Plain in the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom revolution. It demonstrated its great strength and wisdom in the struggle against the feudal rulers of the Qing Dynasty. Nien’s rise and activity have their own distinct characteristics. Studying the peculiarities of peasant wars in a concrete way is of great significance to our comprehensive and profound understanding of the law of peasant wars in our country. This article tries to put forward the initial experience of the origin of the Nien Army, with a view to arouse the in-depth study on this issue. The revolt of the Nien Army in northern Anhui in 1833, like many peasant uprisings in our history, was developed after a period of deliberation among the masses of the exploited and oppressed people. Nien’s predecessor was twisted party.
