由徐祖耀、李朋兴两位教授主编的《材料科学导论》一书即将由上海科学技术出版社出版。《导论》全篇六十余万字,插图与照片约九百余幅。内容既包含材料科学中的一般原理和变化规律,亦涉及金属、陶瓷、高分子和功能材料在内的各类材料的结构与性能间的关系,是国内第一部材料科学方面的导论性专著。全书共十五章,第一章“材料科学及其进展”,对材料科学作了简介,指出了材料应用和研究的新趋势,展望了材料科学发展的前景。其余十四章从内容上可分为三大部分。第一部分包括二至十章,分别为:“晶体结构”(第二章)、“纯晶体材料的凝固”(第三章)、“二元系的相图及凝固”(第四章)、“三元相图”(第五章)、“固体中的扩散”(第六章)、“位错”(第七章)、“界面”
An Introduction to Materials Science, edited by two professors Xu Zuyao and Li Pengxing, is about to be published by Shanghai Science and Technology Press. “Introduction” The whole article more than 60000 words, illustrations and photos about nine hundred pieces. The content includes not only the general principle and variation law in material science but also the relationship between the structure and properties of various materials including metals, ceramics, polymers and functional materials. It is the first monograph in materials science in China . The book consists of fifteen chapters, the first chapter of “materials science and its progress”, made a brief introduction to material science, pointed out the new trends in the application of materials and research, prospects of prospects for the development of materials science. The remaining fourteen chapters from the content can be divided into three parts. The first part consists of two to ten chapters: “Crystal Structure” (Chapter 2), “Solidification of Pure Crystalline Materials” (Chapter 3), “Phase Diagram and Coagulation of Binary Systems” (Chapter 4) “Ternary phase diagrams” (Chapter 5), “Diffusion in solids” (Chapter 6), “Dislocations” (Chapter 7), “Interfaces”
