The U.S. Department of Defense has finally disclosed the “four-year national defense review” report originally released in 2005. This report is the third report submitted by the U.S. Department of Defense to the National Assembly since 1997 and 2001 and the first “four-year national defense review” report after the Bush administration decided to make global military deployment and readjustment of its national defense. The report summarizes the lessons learned by each U.S. military from the war in Afghanistan and plans the direction of the U.S. national defense strategy and military power in the next 20 years. There are four main points in the report: cracking down on the terrorist organization network; countering the nuclear issue
