中医药高等院校的英语教育具有重要的战略意义,因为它关系到中医药国际化人才的培养、中医药高等教育的国际化,以及中医药国际化发展。然而,中医药高等院校的英语教育并未因其意义的重大而蓬勃发展,反而遇到来自思想观念、教学管理、课程设置、教师能力诸方面的困难。为此,本文提出在中医药高等院校要改变对英语教育的错误观念,改变英语教育部门的机构属性,改革英语教师职业发展模式,改革大学英语课、专业英语课、双语课的课程设计与设置等变革措施。
English education in Chinese medicine colleges and universities has an important strategic significance because it relates to the cultivation of internationalized Chinese medicine practitioners, the internationalization of higher education in Chinese medicine, and the internationalization of Chinese medicine. However, the English education in institutions of higher learning of TCM did not flourish because of its significance, but instead encountered difficulties in terms of ideology, teaching management, curriculum and teachers’ abilities. Therefore, this paper proposes that it is necessary to change the mistaken idea of English education in TCM institutions of higher learning, to change the institutional attributes of English education departments, to reform the career development model of English teachers, to reform the curricular design of college English courses, professional English courses and bilingual courses Set such change measures.
