采用熔盐顶部籽晶法从K_2Mo_3O_(10)-B_2O_3助熔剂中生长出尺寸为20mm的优质GdAl_3(BO_3)_4(简称GAB)和Yb~(3+)激活的激光晶体。确定了GAB晶体的透光波长范围、折射率和倍频系数随波长的变化,结果表明其在整个透光范围内均可实现相位匹配,显示了其作为倍频晶体和自变频晶体的应用前景;测定了Yb~(3+):GAB晶体在室温下的偏振吸收、荧光光谱和荧光寿命,并进行了光谱计算,测试了晶体的激光性能,在~1.04μm波段实现了~2.2W激光输出,斜率效率达到53%,显示出Yb~(3+):GAB晶体的潜在应用前景。
High quality GdAl_3 (BO_3) _4 (GAB) and Yb ~ (3 +) activated laser crystals with size of 20mm were grown from K_2Mo_3O_ (10) -B_2O_3 flux by molten salt top seed method. The wavelength range, index of refraction and frequency multiplication of GAB crystal with wavelength were determined. The results show that the GAB crystal can achieve the phase matching in the entire transmission range, which shows its application prospects as frequency doubling crystal and self-commutating crystal The polarization absorption, fluorescence and fluorescence lifetime of Yb ~ (3 +): GAB crystal were measured at room temperature. Spectral calculations were carried out. The laser performance of the crystal was tested. The ~ 2.2W laser output was achieved in ~ 1.04μm band , The slope efficiency of 53%, showing Yb ~ (3 +): GAB crystal potential application.
