一个政党能不能成为执政党 ,最根本的就是看它能不能代表人民的根本利益 ,得到绝大多数人民的拥护。近百年来 ,中华民族、中国人民的根本利益 ,就是民族独立问题、国家工业化或现代化问题。第一代中国共产党人解决了民族独立问题 ,使中共成为执政党 ;第一代和第二代共产党人 ,特别是第二代共产党人逐步解决了国家工业化或现代化问题 ,使党的执政党地位从根本上得到巩固。第三代共产党人正在下大决心 ,花大力气解决现代化实现过程中的贫富悬殊问题、部分工人下岗问题、部分干部腐败问题。我们相信这些问题的解决 ,必将使党永远立于不败之地。
