Review on oscillopolarographic titrations has shown that this branch of titrimetric analysishas out-standing advantages over the other physico-ehemical volumetric methods in manyaspects, such as very simple manipulation and instrumentation, visual end-point detection,rapid analytical procedures and wide applications. It can be used in various kinds of titra-tions, to develop remarkable simple methods of analysis. In the case of acid-base titrations,it can do many things that cannot be done by ordinary indicator methods. Very weak acidsuch as boric acid and phenol can be directly titrated by an ordinary base in aqueous solutionswithout addition of other substances. Its application in pharmaceutical analysis is very promising.
