国家4A级风景区国家级森林公园国家级地质公园湖北英山大别山主峰风景区位于大别山南麓、鄂东北英山县境内北部,是国家AAAA级旅游景区、国家级森林公园、国家级地质公园,总面积30.2平方公里。风景区常年降雨量1430mm,年平均气温12.5℃,夏季平均气温22℃。温光同步,雨热同季,四季分明,气候宜人。境内森林覆盖率达96%,森林生态系统保存完整,动植物种类丰富。现有植物1105种,动物344种,是全国七大生物基因库之一。
