贵刊2016年第7期刊登了题为“挡土墙土压力研究的错误倾向~([1])”的文章(以下称之为“原文”)。在原文中孙建生教授提出了5大问题。本文的目的主要是与孙建生教授提出的5大问题进行深入的探讨,以期对挡土墙计算理论的研究方法和相关概念进行澄清。1土拱与结构拱的区别土拱这一概念是由Terzaghi~([2])首次提出的“soil arching”概念翻译而来:
In your article, Issue 7, 2016, you have published an article titled “Error Probability of Earth Pressure on Retaining Walls ~ ([1])” (hereafter referred to as “original text”). In the original text, Professor Sun Jiansheng raised five major issues. The purpose of this paper is to discuss in depth with the five major questions raised by Professor Sun Jiansheng in order to clarify the research methods and related concepts of retaining wall calculation theory. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SOIL ARCH AND STRUCTURAL ARCH The concept of soil arching is translated from the concept of “soil arching” first proposed by Terzaghi ~ ([2]):
