安徽省阜南县是一个拥有167万人口的农业大县,境内拥有因泄洪救灾而闻名全国的淮河第一坝——王家坝。得益于淮河之水的滋养,阜南人民世代耕作在淮河两岸,用勤劳和质朴建设着家乡。二十世纪八十年代中期,改革的浪潮席卷大江南北,阜南人怀揣着脱贫致富的梦想纷纷走出家乡,外出务工的热潮一浪高过一浪。随着社会主义市场经济的发展和城镇化建设步伐的加快,农村富余劳动力向城镇转移已成必然,也由此催生出了“留守儿童”这一特殊群体。目前阜南县中小学生人数28万,其中留守学生就有16.8
Funan County, Anhui Province, is a large agricultural county with a population of 1.67 million. The territory boasts the first dam of the Huaihe River, Wangjiaba, which is well known for its flood relief work. Benefited from the nourishment of the Huaihe River water, the people of Funan have cultivated their crops on both sides of the Huaihe River from generation to generation and built their hometown with diligence and simplicity. In the mid-1980s, the wave of reforms swept the Yangtze River north and south, and the Funan people carried their dreams of getting rid of poverty and getting rich out of their hometown one after another. With the development of the socialist market economy and the accelerating pace of urbanization, the transfer of rural surplus labor force to cities and towns has become a necessity, and this has given birth to a special group of “left-behind children.” There are currently 280,000 primary and secondary students in Funan County, of whom 16.8 are left-behind students
