《星星之火:全泰壹评传》讲述的是韩国的“工人圣徒”全泰壹的成长、觉醒与抗争的故事。著名的“全泰壹事件”对韩国工人及知识分子产生了巨大的冲击,震撼并唤醒了其社会意识。可以说,全泰壹及其传记,其所影响的不仅仅局限于韩国的工人运动,更改变了韩国的现代史进程。作为韩国民主化运动史上的经典之作,该书对于审视社会转型期中国的劳工问题,颇具启发性。当下的中国劳工,在一定程度上正面临着和当时全泰壹同样的制度安排和社会环境。因此,该书能够帮助我们去反思存在于中国劳工抗争浪潮背后的历史事件、主体行动与结构变革之间的关系,审视当代中国新工人阶级形成的历史命运。
The Story of the Stars: The Story of the Whole Thai One tells the story of the growth, the awakening, and the struggle of the “saints of the workers” in Korea. The famous “All Thai One Incident” had a huge impact on Korean workers and intellectuals, shocking and awakening their social awareness. It can be said that all Thai one and his biography affect not only the worker’s movement in South Korea, but also the process of changing the modern history of South Korea. As a classic in the history of South Korea’s democratization movement, this book is instructive for examining labor issues in China during the social transformation. The current Chinese laborers are to some extent facing the same institutional arrangement and social environment as the whole Thai one. Therefore, this book can help us to reflect on the relationship between the historical events, the subjective actions and the structural changes behind the wave of labor protests in China and to examine the historical fate of the formation of the new working class in contemporary China.
