六朝的“温峤”“和峤”都是历史名人,通常人们都将其名“峤”读作qiáo,二人在《世说新语》中多见,两部《世说新语》词典的注音也读作qiáo。二人的名字多见于后世的诗赋。诗赋由于格律的要求,平仄区别明显。通过电子手段检索《四库全书》中的相关材料,进而从名字的关系考察,发现“温峤”、“和峤”之“峤”应读仄声的jiào,而不是平声的qiáo。再,从名字的来历考察,“谢混”之“混”当读作gǔn而不能读hùn音。
