实验中连续测量MP(口腔压力)与P_(ETCO~2)(呼气末co_2分压)。
8 non-smoking seniors, 5 males and 3 females, 65 to 83 years old. Spirometry measurements are within normal limits. Six control subjects under the age of 30. Respiratory muscle contractility is expressed in MIP and is used as an indicator of respiratory muscle endurance with the threshold of the oral inspiratory pressure (often referred to as MIP) that maintains the original respiratory flow. In the experiment, MP (oral pressure) and P_ (ETCO ~ 2) were continuously measured (end-expiratory co_2 partial pressure). The authors found that older people tolerated MIP was 84.9 ± 8.6cmH_2O, young people were 57 ~ 140cm
