李青1959年出生,山东省滕州市人.西安美术学院给他提供了叩开艺术殿堂之门的契机,是他洒满汗水的艺术道路上第一个驿站与新的起点;从此他领略到了艺术的温馨与严峻、道路的崎岖与险阻.多年来他以自己的聪明才智与超人的勤奋和毅力,不断地实践着自己的艺术追求,以其作品实绩令国内外艺术界瞩目十年前他即在日本举办《李青作品展》,1989年在陕西美术馆举办了《李青现代艺术作品展》,1992年应邀赴日本大阪、京都等地讲学并举办《李青画展》、1996年担任中国希望工程特种纪念品艺术总策划.前不久在西安美术学院陈列厅举办的《李青水墨画展》,是他近年来在绘画艺术研究中的阶段性成果的昭示.
