第五次全国图书馆文献缩微会议于十月二十七日至三十一日在苏州召开。出席会议的有文化部图书馆局和全国图书馆缩微中心负责同志、各省市图书馆馆长及部分技术部主任,共七十三人。与会者对1985——1989年公共图书馆系统文献缩微工作进行了回顾与瞻望。并对珍贵文献抢救工作的“八五”规划进行了热烈讨论。
The fifth national library document microfilming conference was held in Suzhou from October 27 to 31. Attended the meeting are a total of seventy-three people responsible for comrades of the Library Bureau of the Ministry of Culture and the National Library Microfocusing Center, curators of various provinces and municipalities and some technical departments. Participants reviewed and looked into the microfilm work of the public library system from 1985 to 1989. He also held heated discussions on the “Eighth Five-year Plan” for the rescue of precious documents.
