徐本禹,山东聊城人,1999年考入华中农业大学,2002年7月到贵州省大方县狗吊岩村支教。2003年春天考取华中农业大学硕士研究生后,主动申请保留学籍,再次来到地处贫困山区的贵州省大方县大水乡大石村大石小学支教。他的义举经媒体报道后,受到了全社会的关注,后当选为“感动中国”2004年年度人
Xu Ben Yu, Liaocheng in Shandong, admitted to Huazhong Agricultural University in 1999, July 2002 to Dagong County, Guizhou Province, the village dogs hanging rock village. After obtaining a master’s degree from Huazhong Agricultural University in the spring of 2003, he voluntarily applied for retention of student status and once again came to teach in Dashi Primary School of Dashi Village, Dashu Township, Dafang County, Guizhou Province, which is located in a poor mountainous area.
