本文是作者通过近年来参加所在学院公共英语课的教学实践而提出的.作者认为当前教学环节中尚存在若干问题,并就此提出了解决的建议.这些问题包括:关于用英语组织教学,加强朗读训练,精心讲好语言点,提高翻译质量,以及外语教学中的教书育人等.无疑,通过讨论和研究,解决好这些问题,对提高大学英语的教学质量,强化当前大力倡导的素质教育,发挥教育的春风化雨、潜移默化的功能作用,定会有积极的推动作用.
