李达三原名李贤铨,1922年生,祖籍浙江宁波鄞县东钱湖镇莫枝堰沙家垫人。父亲李洪黻,又名李瀛楚,解放前在上海开设东华电料行,生母邵氏。李达三在上海长大,后进复旦大学,毕业后继承父业,在上海做电料生意。瞄准电器、电子与旅游餐饮行业李达三于解放后即去香港办实业,他瞄测市场经济,吃准电器、电子与旅游餐饮行业在人们现代生活中的比重,在香港创业、经营、拓展他的事业。首先,他同日本夏普合资成立声宝、乐声有限公司,经营全套家用电器,写字楼自动化办公用具,集成电路等电子零件,生意日隆,业务发展很快;他经营的声宝电视机、传真机,在马来西亚设有工厂生产,声宝电子产品已走向世界市场,其中在日本生产的液晶体产量占世界总产品的40%。李达三现任香港声宝、乐声(香港)有限公司董事长,并在新加坡、马来西亚等地设立分公司,以扩展业务。
