From August 26 to August 27, the Symposium on the Development of Chinese Language Television hosted by Guangdong Provincial Association for Cultural Exchanges, Guangdong Academy of Radio, Film and Television and Guangdong TV Station was held in Guangzhou. Chinese, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Chinese television experts and scholars from Singapore, the United States and Canada gathered for discussion on the development of Chinese-language television. The symposium received a total of 30 papers, 27 people to speak. Faced with the fierce competition in the international television industry and the great cause of China’s reunification, the participants fully expressed their sincere feelings of innocence and historical responsibility.
