党的十四大确立了我国要建立社会主义市场经济体制,随着中国加人 WTO,它加速了我国建立市场经济体制的进程。据权威研究机构的研究表明,经过改革开放25年,特别是近10年的努力,我国市场经济发展程度为69%,已初步建立社会主义市场经济体系,成为发展中的市场经济国家。社会主义市场经济带来了社会全方位的变革,民族工作也不能例外。一方面,市场经济打破了少数民族的封闭状态,逐步建立了全国统一的大市场,各民族问的经济文化交流更加密切,外来文化与本民族文化互相依存,互相影响;另一方面,各民族将更加开放和进步,经济的对比效应使各少数民族对自身利益感
