OBJECTIVE: In recent years, more and more researches have been done on the immunological role of neuropeptide Y and the relationship between Th1 / Th2 balance and immune diseases such as multiple sclerosis. There are many other basic questions that need to be explored in depth: What is the exact mechanism by which neuropeptide Y acts on the immune system? Multiple autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis have abnormally high or low sympathetic activity, What is the role of neuropeptide Y, Th1 / Th2cell and Multiplesclerosis? Source: The computer-aided search of articles related to neuropeptide Y, Th1 / Th2 and multiple sclerosis from Medline1994-09 / 2004-09, English. At the same time, the computer searches CNBI1994-09 / 2004-09 articles, the limited article language type is Chinese, the search term “neuropeptide Y, Th1 / Th2, multiple sclerosis.” Data selection: retrieved more than 160 articles Literature screening, selection of neuropeptide Y, Th1 / Th2 cells as the main content of the literature more than 20 articles, whether the study object for the animals or patients are all included, the research content is similar to the past 3 years and published in more authoritative magazine First, to exclude the review of literature.Data extraction: The screening of more than 20 articles according to neuropeptide Y structure, function and immune disease relationship: one of the neuropeptide Y junction , 10 of them were related to the function of neuropeptide Y and Th cells, and 9 were related to their relationship with immune diseases.DATA SYNTHESIS: Totally 730 patients (or experimental animals) were included in 20 articles, demonstrating that neuropeptide Y It can promote the secretion of interleukin-4 by Th2 cells and the secretion of γ-interferon by Th1 cells, which may inhibit the occurrence of multiple sclerosis. Conclusion: Th1 / Th2 balance disorder can promote multiple sclerosis The neuropeptide Y can regulate the balance of Th1 / Th2 cells, which is closely related to the pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis.
