In recent years, ABB Transportation Systems Co., Ltd. has developed a MICAS-S2 electronic traction control system for all railway traction electric vehicles using three-phase drives. The distributed architecture, robust data bus system and user-friendly programming interface give the MICAS-S2 the flexibility to make it suitable for all types of railway towing vehicles.
