西安市秦腔剧院、歌舞剧院、话剧院七月一日在人民剧院宣告成立.西安市秦腔剧院以易俗社、三意社尚友社为基础,扩大改设为一团、二团、三团三个团.歌舞剧院以市歌舞团、儿童剧团为基础,扩大改设歌剧团、歌舞团、儿童剧团,另外附设一个皮影木偶剧团.话剧院以市话剧团为基础,分为一、二队,暂不设团.此外,三院各设一个演员训练班,和一个美术制作工厂.这三个院的成立,是在工农业大跃进推动下出现的文化高潮中的产物.它集中地表现了党对戏剧事业的无微不至的关怀,标志了西安戏剧事业在党的领导下,又大大地向前迈进了一步.
