随着科学技术的发展,计算机逐渐被应用到大学英语写作领域,由此产生的作文自动评分系统(Automated Essay Scoring,简称AES)对于提高学生的写作水平发挥着巨大的作用。本研究以句库批改网为例,抽取新疆农业大学外国语学院2013级英语专业学生中不同分数的作文,从中找出作文中存在的差异。本研究主要针对以下两个问题:(1)高分组的作文与低分组的作文之间存在哪些差异?(2)从学生的角度出发,如何提高写作水平?研究结果表明,作文分数的高低受词汇及句子的影响,同时发现,在题目的要求中没有限制字数时,分数与字数存在正比关系。因此,笔者就词汇及句子层面给予相应的建议。
With the development of science and technology, computers are gradually applied in the field of college English writing. The resulting Automated Essay Scoring (AES) plays an important role in improving students’ writing skills. In this study, the Sentence Approval Network was taken as an example to draw the essay scores of different grades of 2013 English majors from School of Foreign Languages, Xinjiang Agricultural University, and to find out the differences in the essay. This study is mainly aimed at the following two questions: (1) What are the differences between the composition of the high-grade group and the composition of the low-grade group? (2) How to improve the writing level from the student’s point of view? Vocabulary and sentences, also found that there is a direct relationship between the score and the number of words when there is no limit on the number of words in the subject’s requirements. Therefore, the author gives corresponding suggestions on vocabulary and sentence level.
