美籍华人陈守廉硕士现任美国国际资源公司总经理和美国第一东方证券公司董事长,是一位有30多年经验的经济学专家。陈硕士关心祖国的现代化建设,近几年来不断地回乡给北京、上海、广州和深圳等地各阶层人士讲学,对我国经济改革和对外开放起了积极的推动作用。不久前,应中国南海石油联合服务总公司和广东省侨务办公室的邀请,在深圳市作了题为“美国私人企业与资本市场”的学术报告,内容丰富,启发甚大,现把陈硕士的讲话(整理稿)摘要发表,供学习参考。
Chinese American Chen Shoulian is currently the general manager of U.S. International Resources Corporation and chairman of U.S. First Oriental Securities. He is an economics expert with more than 30 years of experience. Master Chen cares about the modernization of the motherland. In recent years, he has been returning to his hometown to give lectures to people from all walks of life in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, which has played a positive role in promoting China’s economic reforms and opening to the outside world. Not long ago, at the invitation of China Nanhai Petroleum United Services Corporation and the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Guangdong Province, an academic report titled “American Private Enterprises and Capital Markets” was presented in Shenzhen.
