1月21日,珠海市新一轮农村水改工程动工仪式在斗门荔山村举行,此次工程共需投入资金1.8亿元,直接受益家庭67000户,预计在明年底完成,届时,珠海市农村将全部用上洁净卫生的自来水。珠海市委常委、常务副市长霍荣荫出席了动工仪式。水改工作已取得两次阶段性成果为解决农村饮用水困难问题,从2001年6月开始,珠海市启动了农村水改这一民心工程,对西部地区部分村镇的供水设施进行改造。2002年底,斗门121条行政村实现了“村村通”自来水的目标,结束了村民长年饮用山塘水、河水的历史,这是农村水改工作的首次成果。‘村村通’是指供水管网通到每条村口,但村内管网陈旧、老化、材质低劣、安装技术差,造成漏水严重等问题并未得到有效控制,个别村
