晓雪是我国当代著名的诗人、诗评家和散文家,他的许多作品曾翻译成英、法、日、韩和西班牙等多国文字出版。未与晓雪相识前,我就在各种报刊上拜读过他的许多诗歌、诗评、散文以及他人评介晓雪的许多文章,并深为他的文品和人品所感动和折服。我和晓雪虽然同为云南人,但由于条件所限,我几乎没有机会拜识这位享誉诗坛的白族诗人。
Xiaoxue is a famous contemporary poet, poetic critic and essayist in our country. Many of his works have been translated into many languages such as Britain, France, Japan, South Korea and Spain. Before I met Xiao Xue, I read many of his poems, poetry reviews, essays and other articles by others in Xiaoxue’s works in various newspapers and magazines, deeply moved by his articles and personalities. Although both Xiaoxue and I are from Yunnan, due to the limited conditions, I rarely have the chance to meet the Bai poet who is renowned in the world of poetry.
