隧道二极管线路需要稳定的直流偏压源。例如,当隧道二极管用于放大或振荡线路时,必需使其工作点偏置于隧道二极管的负阻特性区。但因为特性的这一段是非线性的,偏压有不大的变化,即可使得电导改变因而电流放大也改变。
Tunnel diode lines require a stable DC bias source. For example, when a tunnel diode is used to amplify or oscillate a line, it is necessary to bias its operating point to the negative resistance region of the tunnel diode. However, because this section of the characteristic is non-linear, there is little change in bias to cause the conductance to change and thus the current amplification to change.
