我家阳台总会栽上两盆紫叶罗勒。紫红色的叶片既好看又好吃,还有香味,炒菜、做饺子馅都行,做鸡蛋汤放上几片叶子,那独有的香味更是感觉好吃极了。罗勒(Ocimum basilicum),又名兰香,唇形科一年或两年生草本植物。全株有香味,叶片有紫红、翠绿及花斑等颜色。栽培历史悠久,自古就深受人们喜爱。我国古代著名农书《齐民要术·种兰香第二十五》中便有关于栽培加工罗勒的记载:“兰香即罗勒也……”。罗勒地栽株高50～60厘米,盆栽株高30～50厘米。叶长6～8厘米,宽4～6厘米。我家栽植的罗勒叶片呈深紫红色,在阳光照耀下极有光泽,观赏价值很高。花期5～9月,小花呈粉红色,数朵集生于茎
